Flickr SOLD!
Yes, after all that we've been hearing for the past couple of weeks. Yahoo! has finally acquired Flickr and its parent company Ludicorp. It was just yesterday that we were discussing about Flickr's probable acquistion by Yahoo! and today this happens! Wow!
So, what next? My speculating half tells me that Yahoo might integrate Flickr with 360º. Oh boy, that would be really interesting to see.

Whoa! thanks for the heads up pal - this is BIG! I'm a total Flickr evangelist, and I can vouch this is gonna have major repurcussions in the industry and a MAJOR plus for Yahoo! Totally agree about your speculation on the 360º integration. Man, I can't wait to see what happens and how this 'next big wave' takes everyone by storm.
I hate to be cynical, but I feel Yahoo's acquisition of Flickr will prove detrimental to its progress. Looking at the trend these days, companies like Google and Yahoo are more interested in increasing their product portfolios than improving quality!
